Drizzy Drake has been pretty busy lately with Lil Wayne still locked up in jail, but he has been holding it down. Several new Drake songs have been dropping, some featuring Weezy, but only a couple more months until the YM crew is reunited.

I don’t think this is true, but recent Twitter talk has it that Drake and Nicki Minaj are getting married. Check out the two tweets by both Drizzy and Nicki. It sounds official, however I think this is just a publicity stunt to stall the time that Lil Wayne is in jail. Young Money is probably running out of ideas and needs to stay on the map, so their trying anything that could possibly make big news on the internet. I mean why would rapper Drake get married, he could have any girl be his girlfriend, or just keep doing what he’s doing and have all the girls in the world.

Here we have two new videos from ImFlashy where they got to catch up with Drake to talk about his upcoming album. He talks about how he’s been studying Nas since he always used to listen to his raps. Drizzy Drake also mentioned Andre 3000 and how he feels he has become a better rapper the past couple months. We’ll see when the new Drake music album drops before summer hopefully. Drake has announced the new tour dates for “The Away From Home” music tour! Since Lil Wayne is going to be away for a year, Drizzy Drake will have to hold down the Young Money label with his new headline tour. Along side rapper Drake will be fellow Canadian K-OS, Ben Harper, and Francis & The Lights. It will be hitting fifteen colleges and universities near you! Check out the dates after the jump.

Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints? Here we have Drake and Lil Wayne talking back stage at the Grammys, giving their Super Bowl prediction. It’s obvious that Weezy is going for his hometown New Orleans Saints, and there’s no way that rapper Drake can argue against him. Or is there? I mean the Indianapolis Colts do have Peyton Manning. But no, Drizzy Drake agrees with Lil Wayne and says the N.O. Saints have been playing with a lot of heart. But hold up, if I recall right, the almost undefeated Saints lost to one of the worst teams in the league this year, the Tampa Bay Bucs! Many sports fans are forgetting that loss, but when thinking about the regular season and how the Colts won every game they tried to win, I think the super bowl prediction shouldn’t be too hard for many to figure out.

One of the biggest stories of 2009 in the hip hop and rap game was the rise of the new rapper Drake and his chart topping music. From his beginnings as the actor in a wheel chair on Degrassi, Drizzy Drake has become one of the most sought after names in rap. His So Far Gone mixtape helped him rise to the top of the game, and it received the mixtape of the year from Mixtape Daily. Signing with Young Money was a smart move for Drake‘s career, and you can bet that’s what secured his #8 position for the MTV News Top Men Of The Year award.

Recently Drake did a collaboration with Alicia Keys and said it was one of the best moments of his career. The track called “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready)” will be featured on Alicia Keys upcoming album The Element of Freedom. Drizzy Drake had critical parts in making the single from his background vocals to writing the majority of the record. While in the studio, rapper Drake noted that the studio session was like a heated party and everyone was vibin while making the joint. It was like a rap battle for Drake, when Alicia Keys told him to play his favorite song, and let everything just flow from there.

After hearing about his two Grammy nominations, Drake took time for his fans at the Crenshaw Mall by signing autographs and greeting each fan. The first 100 people who donated an unwrapped toy were given the chance to wait in line to meet Drake personally and receive his autograph. There were also five lucky raffle winners who got a special meet and greet with rapper Drake behind the scenes. Drizzy Drake said he enjoys being able to make people’s day by simply shaking their hands and giving a little back to the fans. One overly excited fan even needed to be restrained by security. Rap-Up just got an exclusive interview with rapper Drake over the weekend in Los Angeles, and had a chance to talk about his Grammy nominations. In the video he speaks about receiving props from Smokey Robinson, Will I Am, and even the Jonas Brothers who he says he’s cool with. Who’s the one person Drake will bring to the Grammy’s? His mom. He said him and his mom used to joke about being nominated, and now that’s it true, they joke about winning one, which he’s not really sure what will happen. Drizzy Drake then talks about how Lil Wayne reacts to big news, and that he really even didn’t tell Weezy at first. When you tell Lil Wayne about something big and important, he’ll just ignore it, and bring up the next move or track they need to produce.
