The open bar and girls were exquisite, while the environment was the best Drake ever had because of the new year. Drake has just received the news that he was named Man Of The Year by the popular GQ Magazine. We also have these pictures and video of Drizzy Drake on the red carpet talking about the award. Here we have a video of Drake talking about the return of Lil Wayne and the party he threw in Miami. Everyone in the music industry seemed to be in attendance, Drizzy Drake, Nicki Minaj, and the whole Young Money crew. Busta said the party seemed like an award show with all the celebrities appearing. It’s good to see so many people care about Lil Wayne and the return of the current rap king.

Drizzy Drake has been pretty busy lately with Lil Wayne still locked up in jail, but he has been holding it down. Several new Drake songs have been dropping, some featuring Weezy, but only a couple more months until the YM crew is reunited.

Here is a recent interview from MTV with Drizzy Drake talking about Lil Wayne getting released from jail early. Drake says that it would be cool if Lil Wayne could get out of jail soon and attend the performance that him and Kayne West will be doing at the 2010 Video Music Awards. Even if Lil Wayne had to come out for a day, and was still in his jumpsuit it would be sweet. The complete Young Money crew would be deep again and continue to run the hip hop scene.

DJ Semtex got a long sit down talk with Drake about his new album Thank Me Later. Drakes new music album Thank Me Later just dropped a couple days ago, and in this video he breaks down every song and where the influences came from. His parents played a major roll in a few songs, after seeing what they had to go through to raise him, but several other famous rappers, not including Drizzy Drake that had an impact. Some including Ghostface Killah and Nas. Thank Me Later can now be purchased online or in stores on the shelves. In a week or two we’ll get to see how the Thank Me Later Drizzy Drake debut album sold, and if it will be a chart topper among the rap game.

Here we have a video of Drizzy Drake talking about the recent collaborations with Lil Wayne before he went to jail. People had mistaken the song “Afrika Bambaataa” to have Drake in it, but really he was just on the set while Lil Wayne was shooting his music video. Weezy and Drizzy do have a collaboration coming soon called “Miss Me” which is about being away from what you love. Could it be possible that Drake slips the track onto his upcoming ‘Thank Me Later’ album, or maybe Lil Wayne will use the Afrika Bambaataa for his Carter IV album?

It’s now official, Drizzy Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later will arrive to stores on May 25th, 2010. The Canadian singer-rapper Drake has been in the studio with many collaborators, including Jay-Z, Kanye West, The Dream, Sean Garrett, and Boi-1da who produced the first single, Over. Thank Me Later was originally planned for an early spring launch, but has taken a little longer than expected as Drizzy strives for the perfect chart topping album while holding down the Young Money label. Before the album drops May 25, rapper Drake will be traveling across the country with his latest tour “The Away From Home Tour,” kicking off April 5th, and wrapping up in Houston on May 20th.
