It’s now official, Drizzy Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later will arrive to stores on May 25th, 2010. The Canadian singer-rapper Drake has been in the studio with many collaborators, including Jay-Z, Kanye West, The Dream, Sean Garrett, and Boi-1da who produced the first single, Over. Thank Me Later was originally planned for an early spring launch, but has taken a little longer than expected as Drizzy strives for the perfect chart topping album while holding down the Young Money label. Before the album drops May 25, rapper Drake will be traveling across the country with his latest tour “The Away From Home Tour,” kicking off April 5th, and wrapping up in Houston on May 20th. After hearing about his two Grammy nominations, Drake took time for his fans at the Crenshaw Mall by signing autographs and greeting each fan. The first 100 people who donated an unwrapped toy were given the chance to wait in line to meet Drake personally and receive his autograph. There were also five lucky raffle winners who got a special meet and greet with rapper Drake behind the scenes. Drizzy Drake said he enjoys being able to make people’s day by simply shaking their hands and giving a little back to the fans. One overly excited fan even needed to be restrained by security.
